K. Dean Austin, M.Acc., CA

Dean is a partner at Scarrow & Donald LLP and provides a wide range of enterprises with assurance, accounting, tax and business advisory services. Dean's professional service experiences include publicly and privately held enterprises in real estate, hospitality, mining, manufacturing and transportation sectors as well as not-for-profit organizations.
Professional History
Dean graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1996 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with distinction degree, and in 1997 with a Master of Accountancy degree. He placed fourth in Manitoba in the 1997 CA final examinations, winning the W.W. Shepherd Award. Dean facilitates and is involved in the development of materials for the CA School of Business. He has lectured for the University of Manitoba and for the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba and Saskatchewan in their student education programs. Dean is a facilitator for the CA School of Business uniform final examination preparation course, and has been a marker for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants uniform final examination.

John F. Kelly

John is an audit partner at Scarrow & Donald, serving a wide range of clients in both not-for-profit and private industry.
Professional History
In 1973, John graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree. In 1977, he received his Chartered Accountancy designation, placing first in Manitoba and 11th in Canada in the examinations written that year.
For four years, John was a member of the Auditing Standards Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, chairing the Board's Western Section.
In addition to his work at Scarrow & Donald, John lectures at the University of Manitoba in their Master’s of Accountancy program and for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in both their student education and professional development programs.

Keith G. Findlay

Keith is a partner at Scarrow & Donald LLP, and provides a wide range of enterprises with business advisory, accounting and auditing services. He has been at Scarrow & Donald since 1993, following twelve years of providing professional service at an international Chartered Accountancy firm.
Professional History
Keith's professional services experiences have included enterprises in retailing, distribution, manufacturing and transportation, and regulated financial services sectors as well as community based not-for-profit organizations.
Keith obtained his B. Comm. (Hons) from the Faculty of Management at the University of Manitoba in 1981. He obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1984, and his FCA in 2003.
He went on to provide professional service at an international CA firm for 12 years. In 1993, he joined Scarrow & Donald LLP.

Peter J. Donald

Peter is a founding partner at Scarrow & Donald. He serves a wide range of both privately and publicly held clients as well as clients in the not-for-profit sector. He serves businesses including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, investment, service and community based not-for-profit organizations
Professional History
In 1970, Peter received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba. In 1974, he became a Chartered Accountant.
Peter's accounting experience is international in scope, including two years in Paris, France as well as six months in Cape Town, South Africa.

Professional History
In 1991, Doug graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree, followed by a Masters of Accountancy in 1992. He received his Chartered Accountancy designation 1995.
Doug began his career with Scarrow & Donald as an articling student in 1990, leaving to start his own practice in 1995. The following year, he joined a former Scarrow & Donald partner to form Skinner Smith, Chartered Accountants.
In 1999, Doug merged his practice with Scarrow & Donald and became a partner at this firm.
